Back in the Saddle...

OK...here is my attempt to get "back in the saddle" and flirt with getting this blog going...again! Lots of changes in our life since last year and the kids growing so fast. Can't believe it's almost February. So excited for Spring to arrive and the weather to warm up. Anxious to get outside with the kids. More to come...I promise!

A Stroll on the Beach - Feb 2009

We had a fun getting out and enjoying the fresh air! The girls skipped pebbles and climbed trees. Kenyon, wide eyed and curious, enjoyed the scenery. It was a good day!

"Old" Parents

We were talking with Caitlyn the other night and she said "You and dad are much OLDER than the other parents in my class!" John and I looked at each other, kind of speechless by the way, and told her that we weren't really OLD....just mature. Of course, we then explained to her that people sometimes wait longer to have children.....which (especially for her) isn't a bad idea. I wonder what she'll think when she's graduating from high school and were even OLDER, I mean mature!

February Family Update

Ok...so it's now February 2009 and I am just now starting the blog! I guess I overestimated the free time of a new mom...and now three children. We made it through the holidays, recouped in January and are now ready to get back on track. We're all doing good.

Caitlyn is busy with her 4H club and is on the search for a pure bread Harlequin Bunny. We went up to Everett to look at two mommies that will give birth soon, so she should have them by her birthday in March. She is soooo excited!

Lauren is keeping busy with school and tearing our house up (she has a nack for that)! Last month we found blue ink all over her carpet. She thought she'd decorate her dollhouse with pen ink!!!! Needless to say, blue ink does NOT come out of carpet very well (long sigh)!

Kenyon is now 3 months and is blowing bubbles, cooing (gagga) and wanting to sit up whenever he can. He will be our little explorer for sure. We have a checkup next week and I'll post his stats then. Overall, he is a very good and easy going baby!

Below is a video I took of Kenyon. Sorry it's sideways! I'm still getting the hang of all this. lol
